Craig's Story

Craig's journey has, like most been long and painfull.

In 2005 Craig met someone and had a relationship, early in the relationship she told Craig that she had 15 miscarriages and could not have children.  Because of this no protection was taken and in six months she was pregnant. Craig was caught!!

In 2006 his son was born after much soul searching Craig decided to try to make a relationship with someone he now knew was not the person she had pretended to be.

In 2009 his daughter was born.

In 2010 he made the difficult decision to leave an abusive and loveless relationship.

In 2010 his fight began, a fight to see his children and to be allowed to be a positive influence in their lives.

Immediately the children’s mother began using the children as a weapon, first court visit was in 2010 to gain access to see the children, Access granted.

Moving forward the mother chose to get Social Work involved making spurious claimes about Craig's ability to parent.  It very quickly became apparent to Social Work that it was not Craig's ability to parent that came in to question but it was the mother’s ability.

In December 2008 after the daughter suffered from a suspected fractured finger caused by the mothers anger, Social Work placed the children in Craig's care.

In January 2009 a childrens hearing ratified that decission.

The mother has accused Craig of Physical, Financial, Emotional and Sexual abuse.  With not a shred of evidence and after thorough investigation by the police no evidence was found.

The mother has used "Woman’s Aid" to back up her lies to attempt to provide credibility to her claims, Craig provided video and audio evidence to Woman’s Aid that Mum was the perpetrator of abuse, however Woman’s Aid ignored this evidence.  Proving that Woman’s Aid is not fit or purpose.

Mum spent years using the system to emotionally abuse her own children, evidenced in many Social Work reports.

In a bid to stop mum using the hearing system to abuse her children, Craig raised a petition in court for a residencey order. In late 2020 Craig obtained a residencey order for both children and they were removied from the hearing system.

Craig actively encourages both children to see their mum, his daughter now aged 11 is still in under a contact order and sees her mum regularly, his son now understands the situation and chooses not to see his mum regularly.

Craig's advice to struggling dad's:

Prepare for a long battle, never lose focus.

If the Court tell you to do something, do it, even if you dont agree.

If Social Work tell you to do something, do it, even if you dont agree.

Never call the mum out infront of the children.

Protect yourself at all costs.  Get a Dashcam, Get a call recorder, Get your evidence!
